One night, after spying an ominous purple meteor flying through the sky, you find yourself and a group of kids from your school thrown into a wild new world, with digital monsters to call your own!In this adventure you’ll face dangers, tests, and a mystery that will challenge the ties of your newfound friendships with the other Kids and your Digimon partners alike!Are you ready to dive into the Digital World?

Can we play canon characters in this group?
No, you will be making an original character for this run.Can we have a canon Digimon as our Kid’s partner?
Yes, you can! You can use either a canon Digimon or a Digifake for this run, the choice is yours.How many people are you looking for?
I am looking for 3-5 players to play the game with.What forms will we have access to? And thus, have to draw a reference for?
Throughout this run, you will only have access to the In-Training and Rookie forms of your Digimon! If we decide to continue this campaign once the plotted story is over, then we would discuss higher evolutions :)How will we be rolling for combat and other things?
We will be using Dice Maiden in our Discord server! Animon Story only uses a D6 dice, so if you struggle with math like me this will be much easier! We will also figure out Stats and such upon acceptance.How many characters can we play?
Just the one Kid and Digimon for now! I will be portraying all the NPCs myself.What age range are the majority of the ocs?
They will all be kids! The majority will be between the ages of 11-12, with only 2 available spots to play as either an older or younger Kid.Are we expected to be active everyday?
Definitely not! Speaking for myself, I know I will not be active everyday, so I could never put those expectations on you! This will be a relaxed server, with very few time constraints being implemented.I have someone I would like to join with, is that allowed?
Yes! They will be your Ride or Die, so basically if you both get accept, you’re in! However, if one does not get accepted, then the other does not either.Is AI art or writing allowed?
We have a strict no AI policy, so we will not be utilizing that in any way during this campaign.Can we have some info on the GM?
Yes indeed! Hi, my name is Gloomy, I’m 29 years old and use she/her pronouns! I’ve been a long time fan of Digimon as well as TTRPGs, but this will be the first time I’ve DM’d or played Animon Story! So please be patient with me while I learn the system alongside you all :)Why will you, the GM, have a PC?
The short answer is: cuz I think it would be fun! I’ve made some rules for myself so that I do not influence the story in any way. My PC will be mute, and will have a very ‘go with the flow’ method of interacting with the group, as to not influence your guys’ choices. Basically they’ll be my special NPC :’DI have a question!

Creation

There will be a more in-depth Character Creation upon acceptance, however there are a few things to consider before hand!

What Kid Type will you go with? Remember, the characters Type defines what role they play in the group!
There are 14 Types in total, however, as I’ll be having my own PC/NPC alongside you all, you will only have 13 to choose from. My Kid will be the Shutterbug Type, which is not listed in your options to choose from for ease of understanding. Want to know what Type you can pick? We are going to be a very inclusive campaign, so any ethnicity, body type, personality type (yes, even the bullies!), etc are welcome here!What Crest will your Kid have?
Each Kid gets one specific crest for themselves, a trait that they have or want to have someday! Currently we only use canon Crests, you can find the available options on the Application Form!What kind of Digimon will your Kid have?
There are many things to consider with your Kids’ Digimon Partner!
We will likely adapt the terms used in the Animon Story system to fit the Digital World, so your ‘Classification’ means your ‘Type’ (Reptile, Beast, Aquatic, etc) and your ‘Element’ will be your ‘Field’ (Nature Spirits, Nightmare Soldiers, Wind Guardians, etc) in the Digital World. Confused? Don’t worry, I’ll be working us through it together more in-depth!

You’re a bright point in the data tapestry of the digital world. You know your way around computer systems better than anyone, and while some might call you ‘nerd’ or ‘geek’, you know your place is at the cutting edge of tech.THE DELINQUENT
Every F-graded test and every ‘absent from school’ notice is another medal to put beneath your popped collar. The smart kids know not to mess with you; the rest have bruises. Though you hate to admit it, there’s something buried deep beneath your tough exterior.THE FREE SPIRIT
“Off in their own world again” people say- what’s wrong with that? Nothing makes you happier than pursuing your passions. Some call you an inspiration, others call you a weirdo; as long as it makes you happy, it doesn’t matter either way.THE GAMER

Some things to be aware of before applying:I know this goes without saying, but absolutely no fetishes, NSFW, and of the like are allowed in this campaign.This is a Play by Post TTRPG, no video or voice chats will be used!You must be able to write and make the art of your PC by yourself (commissioned art is allowed with credit), no AI or generative text is allowed. I know this may limit some people in terms of making art for this group, but please know acceptance will not be based on artistic skill!The story may be advanced via RPs, headcanons, short stories, or art! Basically whatever we’re feeling, we can do.Combat will play out via a group RP or group headcanons! Just to make it easier on us all so we can all interact together.You will have a private chat with just me where I can relay information your Kid or Animon might have, discuss plots we may want to implement, and the like! Concerns can also be posted in there as well!I am very new to DMing as well as this specific game, so please be patient with me!
